Dance in Schools - Creative dance for every learner

 

Eleni Dance in Schools offers warm, inclusive creative dance sessions designed to fit your learners, your curriculum and your school context.

 

With nearly 50 years of experience in community and education settings, we work with schools across North-East Wales to support creativity, wellbeing and confident participation through dance.

 

Sessions are available in English or Welsh, and we’re happy to work bilingually where that best supports your learners. 

 

 

What we offer

We deliver specialist creative dance sessions and workshops that can be:

Curriculum for Wales links

Dance sits within the Expressive Arts Area of Learning and Experience (AoLE).

Our sessions align with the shared creative process:

Through dance, pupils develop skills in:

• Appreciation and reflection

We can also support cross-curricular learning, using diverse dance styles and creative themes to enrich wider areas of the curriculum.

Taster workshop

A great way to experience what creative dance could look like in your school.

• 1-hour taster session: £70

• Up to 30 pupils per session

• For larger schools, delivery can be adapted across year groups

• Available in English or Welsh

Programme costs

1.5-hour sessions

• £100 per session

• £900 for a 10-week block (1.5 hours weekly)

1-hour sessions

• £75 per session

• £700 for a 10-week block (1 hour weekly)

Extra opportunities

Schools can also access:

• After-school dance sessions — £70 per session

• Feeder-school collaborations and shared performances

• Taster pathways into Eleni Youth Dance (ages 11–18) — £70 per session

• CPD for teachers (dance / PE / Expressive Arts) — £75 per session

These options help build confidence, progression and continuity for pupils and staff.
